PSA #1002 RE: rearing of boys. Thou shalt not allow boys to play with small game pieces like the one shown here without watching their every move, regardless of how well you *think* it may help their fine motor skill development. This particular peg was from the game "Mastermind". It was lodged way up the nose near his eye, and our favorite ENT did not think it wise to attempt removal without sedation.
PS - And a brief reminder for posterity, should Nate's future children ever have severe anger issues when coming out from under anesthesia - just remember, your Mom and Dad could barely contain you from ripping out your IV after you awoke. And you are one strong little guy (confirmed by your docs who've seen quite a few)!
